JOIN SEAN DEENEY AT THE IRISH FLY FAIR
Hi I'm Sean Deeney, I'm a self-taught fly tyer from Derry in Northern Ireland, I got the inspiration to try out fly tying by attending some local shows and watching the likes of Joe Mc Donald and others demonstrate their skills.
I've been tying salmon, sea trout and brown trout flies for around 15 years now ,my favourite style of salmon flies are traditional Irish shrimp , modern hair wing patterns and also Scandinavian style flies.
I've been fly fishing for Atlantic salmon and sea trout for nearly 40 years on the stunning river's Finn, Mourne, Faughan and brown trout in Donegal's beautiful mountain lough's. I'm also privileged to represent a few great brands like Nordic Tackle Supplies/CND UK and Ireland, Lesonen Signature Materials, Partridge hooks, Raidzap and Lagartun.
I'm really honoured to be invited again to demonstrate at the Irish Fly Fair. I look forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting some new ones.
