Introduction to FishPalFishPal brings together anglers and fishery owners, and provides them with a simple, efficient way to book all types of fly fishing. FishPal also offers information such as catch reports and river levels, provides advise on where, when and how to fish via our Journal, and communicates with its customers via regular newsletters and social media posts. The online booking system is fully flexible, which means fishery owners can set and update their own prices, days, rods, availability and any special conditions – for instance tied accommodation. We have around 40,000 registered anglers in our database, sell a similar number of rods a year, and our website is viewed roughly 2m times per annum. As the market leader in Scotland, and with proven technology, FishPal is now expanding into other areas including Ireland, and is very keen to talk to fishery owners and anglers to see how we can work together. Our booking system is open to all fisheries wherever they are and whatever their size or type. Come and join us!
Will DraperWill is Head of FishPal and responsible for its development as it expands from its traditional home in Scottish fly fishing. He has a background in finance and growing small businesses, and also runs a holiday park with fishing lakes at his home in Suffolk. Will has fished since he was too young to remember, having been taught by his Dad not quite with a worm on a bent pin but not far off. Today he still loves all kinds of fishing but is most at home fly fishing for trout in rivers and stillwaters.
Alisdair KerAlisdair is Head of FishPal’s operations in Scotland and Northern England. His early career was spent in customer-facing businesses. He has been with FishPal for three years and looks after some of our largest clients on famous salmon rivers such as the Tweed, Tay, Dee and Tyne. He is based in Aberdeen not far from some fabulous fishing, which is where he is likely to be found when not working or fly tying – his recent marriage allowing of course.
